G-Force Consulting ATV and UTV Design Consulting. About G-Force Consulting
G-Force Consulting Incorporated was founded by Gary Gustafson in 2005 in response to an overwhelming need for consulting help in the powersports manufacturing marketplace. "Many people have a dream but lack the experience or partnerships necessary to make the dream a reality. Large powersports manufacturers may have a need for a temporary staff augmentation to execute an important new development program. G-Force Consulting treats every business relationship as an investment. The only reason you should do business with us is if we mutually understand what your potential return on investment will be--whether it be quicker time to market, an innovative product, hiring the right person, or helping you select the right suppliers for your product. Our aim is to always achieve a multiple Return On Investment (ROI) for our clients."

Gary's 17 years of experience in the world of motorized vehicles covers a broad spectrum includes developing a wide range of electronics for Polaris ATVs and Rangers, electronics development for Arctic Cat snowmobiles, program management for the 2009 Bad Boy Buggy XT (an electric terrain vehicle), professional writing and marketing for several national media outlets and off-road vehicle market research for multi-national corporations. "I liken G-Force Consulting to being the 'Google' of the powersports world. I have yet to meet a client that we could not help, because of our unmatched range of industry connections and expertise".

While Project Leader for Electrical Engineering in Polaris' ATV/Ranger Division. Gary developed the entire electrical system for the first and second Polaris Ranger platforms including the electric fuel pump, switches, gauges, wire harness and lighting. He was instrumental in Polaris ATV wire harness designs, and developed numerous electrical components such as Polaris’ 2nd-generation electronic speedometer manufactured by Siemens VDO. Gary also created a process to digitally document hose, wire and cable routes on ATVs that became a company standard. An avid ATV enthusiast, Gary spoke at several legislative and DNR hearings pertaining to ATV trail access on public lands and led many group ATV rides for the company.

Gary left Polaris ro join Arctic Cat’s Snowmobile Division as the Group Leader for Electrical Engineering. During his tenure at Cat he personally led development of Remote Start systems, was instrumental in his team’s development of the first 2-way radio/satellite radio systems ever on a production snowmobile. Gary and co. developed new handlebar controls that incorporated multiple industry firsts such as integrated 2-way radio capabilities. Gary and team also implemented Arctic’s first digital photo documentation of hose, wire and cable routes. The new process helped to reduce routing-related quality problems by over 90% on the M-Series snowmobiles in comparison to the release of the "Firecat" line of snowmobiles. Gary personally spent over a year on development of the electronics for the 2007 Arctic Cat snowmobile lineup. The 2007 Arctic Cats incorporate what was named by Supertrax Magazine as the best push-button forward-reverse shifting ever used on a snowmobile. Gary was successful in substantially increasing the charging system output on Cat’s new and current 2-stroke engines. Gary developed an entire family of electronic control units that incorporated automotive voltage regulation technology, have built-in diagnostic capability and ensure that the transmission shifting is safe and reliable. Gary pushed the 2007 Arctic Cats into utilizing hall-effect speed switch technology, and upgrading the headlight output from previous models. Last, but not least, Gary taught about electrical systems at Cat's service school.

Since founding G-Force Consulting, Gary has served as program manager and electrical designer for a bumper-to-bumper electric vehicle design, developed market research for major automotive suppliers and wall street firms, dramatically increased advertising revenue for several media outlets, done professional writing, and many other miscellaneous functions.
